Nubra – Shayok – Pangong: (133km), after breakfast leave for Pangong lake, you will be driving on the same route till Khalsar and from there will take the diversion towards the famous Shayok valley. You will be driving along the Shayok river with beautiful landscape and some points you will be crossing water streams. Overnight at camp/ hotel at Spangmik

Pangong – Chang-la – Leh: (150km), after breakfast leave Pangong lake towards Leh via Chang-la(17370ft). Upon reaching Kharu you will be driving across the Indus river, and reach Leh in the late afternoon. Overnight stay in Leh

Kashmir - Ladakh Overland Tour

Srinagar – Sonamarg – Kargil: (205km), after breakfast leave for Kargil, driving through Sonamarg and across the Zojila pass (11500ft). Drass “famous as the second coldest inhabited place in the world” falls on route to Kargil. Overnight stay at Kargil.

(235km), Early departure for Leh, on route viewing the 9mtr tall rock sculpture of Maitreya Buddha at Mulbek “7th – 8th century” and then driving on to Lamayuru where you can see the dramatically located monastery and view the adjoining “Moonland hills”. On the way to Leh, visit the Alchi Choskor “11th Centuary”, oldest surviving monastic complex famous for its wall frescoes and architecture –  UNESCO listed heritage site. Thereafter drive on to Leh, on route you will be visiting Magnetic hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Overnight stay at Leh

Leh – Tsomoriri/Korzok: (220km), early departure for Tsomoriri lake (15000ft) driving through Chumathang (hot spring), Maney and Puga Sumdo. Tsomoriri lake “28km long & 8km wide is the breeding ground of many migratory birds including the rare bar-headed geese”. Dinner & overnight stay at Camp/hotel at Korzok.

Tsomoriri – Jispa: (310km), after breakfast at Korzok you will start your journey towards Jispa, on the way you will be crossing some tough routes: Lacgung-la, Pang and More plains. After crossing Serchu you will be entering in Himachal Pradesh, overnight stay in Jispa

Jispa – Manali: (138km), today you will be having the last drive of the tour, as the journey will be long enough and on the way you will be crossing Rotang-la (13050ft). We will reach Manali in the evening and completing tour.

Tsomoriri-Tsokar-Taglangla-Leh:(200km), After breakfast retrace the route down to Puga Sumdo and then follow the road across the Polokongka pass to visit Tsokar lake “a salt lake system in Rupsho plateau which is home of the Changa nomads and support many rare wild life species”. After sightseeing of the area take the Manali-Leh road to return to Leh, crossing Taglang-la (17585ft) on route.
